Amazon Diversity Luncheon

I am a Black man that has worked in the technology field for three decades. Over the last few years, it seems that diversity has become a priority. As a result, I am often asked to speak about my experiences as software developer. In 2017, I was asked to speak during a diversity luncheon as part of the annual sales kickoff conference in Las Vegas. I spoke about my experiences as an underrepresented minority in the technology field as well as shared a few of the most intriguing findings of my research study Coding While Black.
